About

Hello!!!
My name is Chelsea and I am the crafter behind Jack Of All Braids.
Jack Of All Braids "officially" began in December of 2017 when I participated in my very first craft vendor event. It took me forever to come up with a name, but one morning I woke up from a dream and Jack Of All Braids was the name as it perfectly fit what I do... braid (and then some).
While the official start of this wasn't until 2017, this dream really began in the early 2000's when I was just a 10 year old kid with a plastic lacing kit my mom bought for me. Mom taught me a couple of knots and I took off with it learning more knots and braids from my books and then would sell my creations to friends at school for 50 cents or a couple dollars. A year into selling at vendor events I started my Etsy which didn't really take off until the pandemic in 2020 due to being stuck at home wanting to learn more about how to improve my sales.
2021 was a big year for me, I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management from WGU in April and was hit with the question "What do I want to do with my life?" I felt stuck in my retail management job and wasn't happy. My sister had said to me on multiple occasions: "What you don't change, you choose" and my heart wanted more. In October of 2021, I turned in my notice and with the support of my friends and family I took the biggest leap of my life and I chose to follow my heart.
Each bracelet or art piece I make is made out of absolute joy, passion, and part of this crazy dream I'm following. I want to thank each and every person that has helped support this small business of mine and I hope that my creations help to continue to spread joy!
Chelsea :-)
